Who can join the USQ Psychology Student Society?
Anyone Can Join! Understandably, our society is primarily designed for students studying Psychology, and Science (Psychology); However, students studying Counselling, Human Services, Social Services or similar degrees may also find club membership beneficial. We also appreciate support from the USQ faculty, local businesses, and the wider psychology community.

Why should I join?
Our goal is to facilitate social, industry and academic events and networking opportunities. We also participate in fundraising activities within the local community. If this sounds like something you would like to be involved with – we would love to have you join us!

To make things official, please fill out the online membership form. This form is also the pinned post on our facebook page for your convenience.

How much does it cost?
Our annual club membership is $10 and is payable bank transfer or cash (by arrangement). The account details will be provided to you once a completed membership form is received.

When do I need to pay?
As a new member you will be required to pay within 1 calendar month of completing the membership form. Existing members will be emailed an annual membership renewal form and payment reminder in January, with payment requested by March 1st.

I represent a local business and we like to work with you, how can we make this happen?

We love ideas! If you have any thoughts or ideas about how to make our club even better, please reach out to us via email or on facebook. We would love to hear from you!

Are the shirts free?
Sadly we are unable to provide club shirts for free.. BUT…We are currently in the process of locking in a new supplier which will not only make the shirts more affordable to members, but will also make them more environmentally friendly. Keep an eye out on our facebook page for shirt ordering notifications in the coming weeks.

What other merchandise is available?
In addition to shirts, we currently have branded mugs and tote bags available for $10 and duffle bags embroidered with our club logo for $45. Send us an email if you would like to know more.

I want to join the Executive Committee! How can I do that?
Nominations for existing committee positions open up annually and votes takes place at our annual general meeting. Details about how to vote and how to nominate for the 2022 committee will be posted in October 2021.
